These are not just guesses for who will be battling this postseason. There are the fun teams you will watch all season long with your MLBTV package bound to win their divisions and dominate their standings in their respected divisions. Only the divisions for both of the East divisions will be fighting up until that very last week of the regular season. Some teams will be omitted despite their dream lineups because there are not ready with the whole package. Some have stars and and some do not. They are the elite, anointed teams this season with two teams set up to battle for the World Series rings and the one will emerge on top like they were last year (looking at you Los Angeles Dodgers). Here are the Division winners starting with the American League.

The East will be a battle but only two teams will be going to the Playoffs this season. New York’s run support and Baltimore’s overall package will be a close race for the division winner. The Royals and Rangers will top their divisions with Houston coming up short but still a better record than the Boston Red Sox. Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets

The National League East division will have three of their teams in the postseason. The Braves superior pitching (even without Max Fried) will win the East and look as the favorites to play the Dodgers in the NLCS. The Dodgers are so stacked this season that they will win even when they are slumping. In the lowly Central Division, you have about four teams that are in contention for winning the division so this is mostly a tossup. The wildcards will come from the East as they all battle each other for the division.
